Nebb has supplied a complete control system for Scanmachine 4, a subsea excavator operating down to 2500 m depth. Client: X-subsea (formerly Reef Subsea Dredging & Excavation, Scanmudring)

The Scanmachine 4 is a subsea excavator designed for digging and dredging operations on depths up to 2500 m. The project includes designing and building three subsea canisters for instrumentation, designing and building a complete control system for the excavator, interfacing with MCC-system and furnishing a 20-foot control container for the operator environment. The project was executed in cooperation with Aquadyne.
