Nebb has built up extensive experience and understanding of system processes in many areas. By combining our in-depth understanding of a process, with large amounts of process data, we turn the data into valuable information and deliver it to the right users.

The goal is to empower users at different stages in the process, with the right information, at the right time, to enable the user to make the right decisions.

Information, not data, needs to be the fundamental element for all business decisions. Raw data is converted into information through a series of transformational steps that impose structure. Each step reduces the uncertainty that is inherent in unrefined data, and once transformed, the information can be used confidently by users to solve critical business problems.

Users at different stages in a process require different information; it is vital to understand the needs of each user.

In any process the information required in order to make the right decisions will be different at each stage.

Operation

Operational Intelligence (OI) focuses on providing real-time monitoring of business processes and activities, as they are executed within computer systems, and in assisting in optimising these activities and processes by identifying and detecting situations that correspond to interruptions and bottlenecks.

Monitoring

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a hierarchy of metrics, which focuses on how effectively a manufacturing operation is utilised. The results are stated in a generic form, which allows comparison between manufacturing units in differing industries.

Maintenance

Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) is based on using real-time data to prioritise and optimise maintenance resources. Observing the state of a system is known as 'condition monitoring'. Such observation will determine the equipment's health, and ensure maintenance is only undertaken when actually necessary.

Improvements

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are financial and non-financial measures or metrics used to help an organisation define and evaluate how successful it is, typically in terms of making progress towards its long-term organisational goals.
