The mA generator is suitable for testing control systems where analog inputs with current loop is used.

For each of the 4 channels there is a 10-turn rotary knob with a scale from 0 - 100.

The range between 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA can be selected via a toggle switch. An output of 21 mA can be forced with another switch. This is used to simulate malfunction of sensors.

A green LED indicates whether the current loop is closed.

Technical data:

The device is fed with 24V DC, < 150 mA, the connection is reverse polarity protected, power supply included.

Signal output linearity:                   0.25 %

Maximum output voltage:            21.5 volts.

Loop - connection via banana plugs or screw terminals.
