Transport Carriage

The fully automatic Nebb Multi-function Sensor Carriage on linear rail will simplify the production and improve the quality of your products.

Width measuring

The included frequency controlled drive unit ensures smooth and precise movement of the Carriage across the fabric, either continuously or in fixed intervals chosen by the operator. A photocell detects the width of up to three fabrics simultaneously and transfers the data to the Process Controller for automatic fabric tension control or other purposes.

Pass detector

The carriage will automatically follow the edge of the fabric in order to detect the seam or a specific mark on the fabric. The signal can then be used to synchronise the passcounter. This is very important when running processes like pressing, singeing, vacuum etc. in order to assure a uniform treatment of the whole fabric loop.

Other measuring equipment

Nebb can also deliver the sensor carriage prepared for other measuring equipment, like cutting, edge sealing, colour marking devices etc.
