Clean fossil fuel heat and power plants - Nebb process solutionsNebb has developed several oxyfuel processes with different markets and customers. The Oxyfuel Power Process is a fully scaled power plant and CESAm is a smaller sized heat and power plant suitable to supply energy to a retrofit installed amine absorption plant. The Oxyfuel Power Process has a relative high thermal efficiency and an optimal solution for separation of CO2 and H2O. The expanded exhaust gas is a mixture CO2 and steam, and capture from oxyfuel power cycles is carried out by vapour condensation. We have a process solution with pressurized separation that is favourable for utilization of the heat of condensation. Post combustion capture by amine absorption is an option for retrofit capture. To extract CO2 from atmospheric flue gas is relative energy demanding. Nebb has developed CESAm, an oxyfuel process that supply heat and power to an amine absorption unit.
